MGGT Gymnast Bios
I am Ashley Song. I am a senior this year, and this is my sixth year on the Maple Grove Gymnastics Team. I first started gymnastics classes when I was two years old at Twin City Twisters. When I was five, I was selected for the TOPS team at TCT. I competed as a TCT gymnast until 2010. At that time, I decided to leave TCT and started competing for Jon Anstett's Gymnastics. I was on team there until I was twelve and went to MGGT in seventh grade. Being in gymnastics for 15 years has taught me how to push myself and to work with others to achieve the same goals. The different coaches and teammates I've had in my gymnastics career have all been very influential people that have shaped my life in a very positive way. I can't wait to build more friendships, and I hope this season will be as great as the past ones have been. GO CRIMSON!!
Hi my name is Sarah Abeln and I’ve been on the team for 3 years and I’m a senior this year. Before I was in high school gymnastics, I did excel at Twin City Twisters. My favorite event is vault and my least favorite event is bars. Gymnastics has taught me so much like time management, being responsible and being a team player. I’m so excited for this season and I’m looking forward to laughing with my teammates and winning meets of course! Go MGGT!!
My name is Carys Turner. I am a senior and a captain on the maple grove gymnastics team and this is my second year on the team. I started gymnastics when I was two at a gym in Alabama where I was born called Huntsville gymnastics center. I trained there until 2012 when I moved here to Minnesota. At the time I was a level 6 and decide to join the club team at Gleason's Maple Grove. I eventually made it to level 8 and in my last year of club I was able to win bars at the regional gymnastics meet. I then decided that high school would be a better fit for me. Last year was an incredibly successful and amazing first season with the high school team and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish this year!
My name is Emma Eungard and I am a junior this year. This will be my third year on the Maple Grove gymnastics team. Before joining the high school team I did gymnastics at Gleasons Maple Grove for about 11 years. I hope this season we can be as successful as we were last year and I can’t wait to see how it goes!

My name is Kiarra Poling, my teammates and coaches call me Kp and this is my second year of being on the Maple Grove Senior High Gymnastics team. I’m 16 years old which makes me a junior, and I’ve been doing gymnastics since I was a toddler. I love having fun with the girls and they’re really fantastic to hang out with at meets or even outside of gymnastics. I’m Jaiden Linnell. I am a sophomore at Maple Grove Senior High, this will be my third year on the team. I fell in love with this sport all because of my sister Taylor Hinton. I started out my gymnastics career at Twin City Twisters taking classes, then moved up to prep team which is a team that gets you prepared for levels, after that i moved up to level 4, 5 and then started to train 7. Halfway throughout tryouts i made the decision to try out high school because i wasn’t the happiest in club. Hands down best choice of my life. It is a true blessing to be able to compete and represent such an amazing school. Gymnastics takes discipline and one hundred percent effort all the time. This team is always positive and our bond is unbreakable. I hope for an amazing season, GO CRIMSON!

I started gymnastics classes when I was 5 years old at Gleasons Maple Grove. When I was 7 years old, I moved to Switzerland for 2 years. While I was in Switzerland I was not able to do gymnastics. Although, when I came back to Minnesota, I started doing gymnastics at GMG again. When I was 10, I started doing the xcel program at GMG. I did xcel for 4 years. I am very grateful to be apart of the Maple Grove Gymnastics Team!💛 Let's go Crimson!!!❤🍁
